Christian Dior "Peace & Love" Wooden Platform Clog Sandals

The Find: Galliano's Dior did nothing quietly, and this is the proof. A tobacco suede clog mule built on a solid beechwood platform that's been burned by hand with LOVE, hearts, peace signs, and the Dior logo running the full length of the sole, then finished with a silver peace-sign medallion where the Dior script becomes the symbol itself. This is the hippie-luxe chapter of Galliano's Dior, mid-2000s, when the house was pulling flower-child iconography into a couture frame and nobody else was brave enough to try it. Wooden clog heels are back at the center of the conversation for the first time since then, and this is the original, not the reissue.

• Tobacco brown suede crossover straps with contrasting cognac leather trim piping
• Silver-tone Dior peace-sign medallion at the outer strap, script logo integrated into the peace symbol
• Smooth cognac leather footbed with gold-foil Dior signature
• Natural beechwood platform and heel, pyrography-burned with Dior wordmark, LOVE, hearts, and peace motifs on all faces including the underside
• Covered leather stiletto heel in matching cognac
• Slip-on mule construction, open toe
• Made in Italy

• Heel height: approximately 4.75"
• Front platform: approximately 1"
• Effective heel drop: approximately 3.75"
• Insole length: approximately 9.5"
• Marked IT 37.5. Best fit US 7. A narrow US 6.5 will wear it comfortably.

Condition: Good vintage condition with honest wear consistent with age and use. The suede shows nap wear and softening along the strap edges and across the toe strap. The leather footbed has warm darkened patina at the ball and heel contact points. The wood platform has scattered surface marks, light scuffing, and natural grain darkening. Heel tips are present and worn but serviceable.
