bottega veneta, pre-fall 2019. daniel lee's first season as creative director.
a navy silk-blend mini skirt with a clean a-line silhouette and a wide waistband. the envelope pocket at the hip is the detail that earns it — a triangular fold of fabric, pressed flat against the skirt, with a hidden button closure underneath. no hardware visible from the outside. borrowed from tailoring, placed on a mini skirt deliberately. the waistband closure is hidden as well: no visible buttons, invisible zip. fully silk-lined. the kind of finish that exists purely because it should. pictured in gold from the bottega veneta campaign.
italian size 40. flat measurements (double for circumference): 15" across waist / 22 1/2" sweep / 20 3/4" center length.
75% polyester, 25% silk / full silk lining. made in italy. sourced in paris.
condition: very good. minor surface snags to fabric at wearer's left side — see detail images. no holes, no structural damage.
