Description:
A vintage Céline umbrella in the house's iconic Macadam jacquard, alternating grey-blue and tan chain-link panels beneath a wood shaft. Finished with a crook-style handle and brass ferrule details throughout, this is a rare accessory find from Céline's classic era — the interlocking-link print predates the brand's modern monogram reissue and speaks to old-school Parisian house codes rather than logo-forward branding. A distinctive piece for collectors building out a full Céline accessory archive.
Condition:
Fair, well-loved condition. The leather wrap has been removed from the handle, exposing the bare wood/metal grip beneath — this is the primary flaw and will need to be factored into use or restoration. The canopy shows a visible water stain near the interior label along with a few smaller spots on the tan panels. The ribs, brass tips, and canopy structure are otherwise intact, opening and closing without issue, with no rips or bent spokes. Interior "CELINE" woven tag is present and clearly legible, confirming authenticity.
