a vintage celine tote in the brown macadam coated canvas, the repeating celine c print the house used through the 1980s and 90s. tan calfskin frames the top and forms the twin shoulder straps, celine is embossed across the front band, and the hardware is gold-tone throughout. it holds a structured trapezoid shape on a leather base with protective feet, and opens to a soft beige lining with a zip pocket and the celine paris made in italy stamp. founded in paris in 1945, celine built its name on exactly this kind of leather goods, quietly logo'd and made to last, and the c-canvas is the print that defined its vintage era.
please note: genuine vintage with honest wear. the tan leather trim and handles have darkened and show light scratches and scuffs, most visibly on the base. the canvas is clean, and the bag is sound and ready to carry.
